The Dreamer Behind The Lens
Hi, my name is Suzie! Big fan of books, coffee, and living where I can see the stars in the dark. I'm a mama of three, married to my soulmate, and living my dream on our little country property in Orillia, Ontario. If you can't find me with my kids or taking photos, I'm most likely wrapped in a book on our porch.
I've always been an artistic soul, drawn first to graphite sketching and painting. Then, I always seemed to have a camera in my hands. I remember taking disposable cameras with me everywhere. In middle school, I learned how to shoot on film at the Dundas Valley School of Art. It came to no surprise that when I became a mom, I wanted to document every single moment through the lens of my camera. Motherhood has taught me a great deal about myself, but the one thing that stood out the most was learning to embrace the small moments.
When my desire became ignited, I knew I wanted to take it further by forming my own business. I invested in education and courses so I could fine-tune my skills and apply them to every session. Never did I think my dreams could become a reality, but here I am capturing the real, raw moments for my community.
My Focus
Bold, colourful, & moody. My photography centers on finding the little moments in between. The cozy snuggles, bare feet in the mud, and starstruck eyes. I shoot with more of a candid style, aiming to capture the sincere emotions in front of me. While I do direct posing for my sessions, you'll notice that I move around a lot. This is because I want to make sure your photos have a storytelling feel. Capturing not just the family holding each other close, but the shared glance between mom and dad. The tiny hands of little siblings as they run away together laughing. I want my photos to feel like coming home. All too often, our lives can feel rushed and routine. Let me help slow you down so we can take in this everyday magic together.

The passion. The emotions. The tenderness... And endless fun! Give me all of this, in an outdoor venue of your choosing. I want to tell your story, with every little detail that defines you as a couple. My photos will give the feel of who you are together, with all of the feels. Newborn Sessions
Just about to start your next chapter? We'll capture all the warm and fuzzies that come with newborn babies. Featuring all the wrinkles and tiny toes, these precious one-hour sessions are the very first glimpses of your new family at home. My priority will be utilizing your nursery, and we may move into other sweet spots as well. For these, I'll also bring my selection of newborn wraps for some extra-cozy shots at the end. The Next Chapter
Engagement Sessions
Ready to start the next chapter in your lives together? As F. Scott Fitzgerald put it, "There are all kinds of love in this world, but never the same love twice". Engagement sessions are a little peek at your perfect love story and what makes it yours. Let me capture who you are as a couple, and take special photos you can share with loved ones to announce this exciting news. Studio rental is an optional add-on. Fresh 48 Sessions
Everyone has a birth story. Typically done at the hospital, these sessions capture the earliest moments of your new baby's life. Mama, what you just did was pretty amazing. These photos are the perfect way to record those first few hours while you're getting to know each other. With an intimate feel, we'll capture all those once-in-a-lifetime details that involve your baby adjusting to life outside the womb. Includes a digital gallery of 60 high-resolution images.

Milestone Mini Sessions
Cake smashes, back-to-school photos, religious milestones, and other "firsts"... These occasions come only once and are worth celebrating-- and remembering! This mini can be set at an outdoor location that matches your vision, or at a studio space for an additional fee. Have your photoshoot outfits ready, and I'll curate the session to your style. Includes a digital gallery of 20 high-resolution images.
